Prakash Raj most recently sat down to debate with BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy.  It was about Hindutva!  Moderated by a journalist, the debate has been much commented upon in social media because Swamy "took the actor to cleaners".

Taking to Twitter, the versatile Prakash Raj has since said, "LESSON LEARNT at the conclave...Yes ..Yes..Yes...I lost my way in putting forth my concerns against a very manipulative..smart..well prepared..Dr. Subramanian Swamy ..I’m growing ..I will overcome.. such setbacks chisel me."

"Watching Subramanian Swamy take Prakash Raj to the cleaners on stage. On Hindutva, over 40,000 destroyed temples, beef, Kashmir, Hashimpura massacre, tolerance, democracy...almost everything.  Raj’s stock comeback: 'Kuchh bhi. Kuchh bhi'," said journalist Abhijit Majumder.

"Prakash Raj is a script reader. Swamy is more like a script writer cum reader. Never stood a chance," tweeted Ram Prasad, an entrepreneur.
