The tall and beautiful much sought after heroine of Kannada cinema today ever since ‘Yee Shathamanada Veera Madhakari’ Ragini has been replaced by Dimple Chopra for ‘Kote’ opposite Prajwal Devaraj.

Dimple Chopra made debut in ‘Sihi Muthu’ the debut direction of cinematographer Ashok Kashyap opposite Premkumar and Dhyan but waiting for release of it since a long time. Dimple Chopra, a Mumbaikar is playing the glamorous heroine in ‘Kote’ in the direction of Srinivasa Raju. Srinivasa Raju began his career in Kannada from ‘Sangathi’ and later directed ‘Nannavanu’.

Gayathri the close relative of top actress Sudharani is making debut in Kannada.

Actress Ragini who opted ‘Kempe Gowda’ a remake of a Tamil movie with Sudeep for producer Shankare Gowda makes it clear that she accepted this film much earlier and dates couldn’t be adjusted and that made her to opt out of ‘Kote’.

‘Kote’ muhurut was held on last Friday (17th September 2010) at ISKCON temple in Hubli.
