Director Krish and Varun Tej have announced their second collaboration Rayabari, a few days ago. Much to the dismay of the duo's fans, the project has been shelved. The film was supposed to go onto the sets by now but it was called off due to differences between Varun and Krish.

A source in the know says that it was because of Pragya Jaiswal, the leading of the film, the actor-director had a strained relation for a while now. Krish had roped in Pragya as the leading lady of the film but Varun and his camp have opposed her casting as they feel that the Kanche actress doesn't fit into the role.

The discussions over her casting have been on for a while now but none of them was ready to retract. Apparently, the project has been called off and chances are bright that it might not see any revival in the near future.

Varun will start working for his next project to be direct by Venky Atluri. Produced by Dil Raju, the film will go onto the sets soon.
