Director and actor Pradeep Ranganathan's new age rom-com 'Love Today' was released in cinemas earlier this month and became a bumper hit at the regional box office. The film also had a Telugu dubbed release after the overwhelming response and the movie's remake rights are in demand. 

The Tamil film fraternity has been heaping praises on Love Today since day 1. On Saturday, Pradeep revealed that Superstar Rajinikanth met and honoured him as he was impressed with Pradeep's work in the movie. Now, the young director took to social media today to share that Silambarasan TR wished and sent a token of love to Pradeep. 

Pradeep shared the video of a flower bouquet gifted by Simbu and wrote, "Thankyou STR @SilambarasanTR_ this  Your support for me and #LoveToday meant a lot to me from the first phone call u made . Im really happy . Thankyou so much sir ." A card on the gift read, "Dear, Pradeep Congratulation on the phenomenal success of (Love Today) - STR" (sic).
