Prachi Desai bags Mohammed Azharuddin's biopic

News is already abuzz that Tony D'Souza is coming up with a biopic on the life of cricket ace Mohammed Azharuddin. While Emraan Hashmi has reported to play the lead, hunt was on for the actress who will essay the role of Azharuddin's first wife, Naureen. And one who has bagged the offer is Emraan's earlier 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai' co-star Prachi Desai.

According to sources, Emraan has already started preparing for his role, while Prachi is yet to learn the nitty-gritties of cricket and know thorough details about the former Captain of Indian cricket team. The actress, who was last appeared in an item song in 'Ek Villain', is also said to meet the real Naureen, to prepare for her role.

Azharuddin's celebrity life is not unknown for most... And one may be wondering who will be playing his second wife's character on big screen. And it is alleged to be none other than, Kareena Kapoor-Khan. While this piece of news gets finalised, you stay tuned on for more....
