Actor and director Prabhudeva had last acted in Tamil in Devi 2, and some of his movies like Pon Manickavel, Oomai Vizhigal have been completed and are ready to release. Prabhudeva is also directing the Hindi movie Radhe, starring Salman Khan and Disha Patani.

Prabhudeva has teamed up with Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan director Adhik Ravichandran for the movie Bagheera, and this movie's first look poster was released recently, presenting Prabhudeva in a completely new look.

Bagheera has Anegan actress Amyra Dastur as the female lead, and the latest update is that this movie will have actor Guinness Pakru, best known for acting in movies such as Dishyum, Kavalan and 7am Arivu in an important role. Pakru holds the guinness world record for being the shortest actor to play full length role in a feature film.
