Rana Daggubati is set to team up with Kollywood director Prabhu Solomon for a pan-Indian film. To be titled 'Hathi Mere Sathi' in Hindi, the film will also be a big release in Telugu and Tamil to cater to Rana's South Indian fan base.

To be jointly produced by Eros International and Trinity Pictures, the film could belong to the action genre. It will be shot in Thailand. The film will go on the floors in January. The trilingual is set to be a grand Diwali release.

Prabhu endeared himself to the Telugu audience with the Telugu version of 'Mynaa' (2010). 'Kumki' and Dhanush-starrer 'Rail' ('Thodari' in Tamil) followed later.

As for Rana, he is busy teaming up with non-Telugu directors more. Recently, a period drama where the hunk will play Marthanda Varma, the legendary King of Travancore, whose reign lasted 29 years from 1729-58, was announced. To be directed by K Madhu, it has been written by Robin Thirumala.
