Prabhu is a happy father. The veteran actor says his son Vikram Prabhu, who is making his acting debut with 'Kumki', took immense pains to get his act right.

"After completing studies at the Theatre of Arts College in Santiago State University, Vikram assisted Vishnuvardhan in Sarvam. Then he wanted to try his hands at acting," says Prabhu.

"Vikram worked very hard and shed 30 kgs. His wife assisted him a lot to achieve his mission. I am hopeful that his performance in Kumki will be talked about," he adds.

Directed by Prabhu Solomon, 'Kumki' produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers has music by D Imman. Lakshmi Menon, who made an impressive debut with 'Sundarapandian', is the leading lady.
