Prabhu Lakshman, who played the role of Dulquer Salman's friend in Mani Ratnam's super hit romantic flick 'O Kadhal Kanmani' has passed away due to a sudden heart attack.

Prabhu runs multiple lines of businesses including a popular college in Dindigul. He is known to be a kind-hearted and friendly person and has a huge list of friends in Kollywood film industry. He is known to be a close friend of Mani Ratnam's family.

Kollywood celebrities are expressing shock over the sudden demise of a good friend and everyone his referring to him as buddy.

Prabhu Lakshmam is survived by wife and Deepa and three children.
