Prabhu Deva's next: Shruti in or out?

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,July 16 2012]

While Prabhu Deva confirmed that Shruti Haasan would be the heroine of his next directorial venture in Bollywood, producer Kumar Taurani was not ready to make things official.

We have not yet finalized her.

Wait for sometime. Next week we will finalize, says the producer, who will see his son Girish making his acting debut with this Prabhu Deva directed flick.

I can't comment on that was Taurani's reply when he was asked whether Shruti Haasan was approached for the project.

All that I can say is the film will go floors in August, he added.

It is said that the film would be the remake of Prabhu Deva's Telugu directorial venture 'Nuuvostanante Nenodattana', which was later remade in Tamil as 'Unakkum Enakkum'.

Both the Tamil and Telugu versions had Trisha as the heroine.
