'Gulebakavali', starring Prabhu Deva and Hansika in the lead, is dubbed from Tamil. Directed by Kalyaan, it has yesteryear actress Revathi in a powerful role.

The news is that the film will hit the screens on March 23.

Malkapuram Shivakumar is presenting it under Surakh Entertainment India Pvt Ltd. "The film was a big hit in Tamil when it was released in January. Although it's a dubbed film, the nativity factor is not missing in the movie. It's with the confidence that 'Gulebakavali' will be lapped up by the Telugu audience that we have decided to produce it. An action comedy film, it tells the story of a hunt for a hidden treasure in a village. The screenplay is the film's highlight," the makers say.

"The dance and acting of Indian Michael Jackson are a highlight of the movie, they add. Mansoor Ali Khan, Madhu and Anand Raj are part of the cast.

Music is by Vivek-Mervin. Stunts are by Peter Heins. RS Anandakumar has done the cinematography. Lyrics are by Samrat.
