Prabhu Deva turns villain for the first time in his career

Prabhu Deva one of the highest paid directors in Bollywood has returned to acting in Tamil cinema after his super hit ‘Devi’ directed by Vijay and costarring Tamannaah.  The dancing sensation is currently the leading man of Hansika in 'Gulebagavalli' and Lakshmi Menon in 'Yung Mung Sung'.

Prabhu Deva for the first time in his career is playing the villain in 'Mercury'directed by Karthick Subbaraj in which Sanath Reddy, Deepak Paramesh and Remya Nambesan play the protagonists.  This is a silent film after a long time in Tamil cinema, which is in post-production and has music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Tinu and editing by Vivekh Harshan.
