Prabhu and Karthick are two of the most popular crowd pleasers who ruled the roost in Kollyood in the eighties and nineties and still have a sizeable fan following.  The duo are now most sought after as character artistes and are also doing lead roles in a couple of films.

Prabhu is doing the parallel lead role reuniting with Prabhu Deva in 'Charlie Chaplin 2' directed by Shakthi Chidambaram and costarring Nikki Galrani and Adah Sharma.  Prabhu Deva has lauded his senior colleague "With the amazing and wonderful human being,after a long time we are acting together... very very happy".
