Well when Prabhu Deva and his ex-wife Ramlath did not appear in court for the final hearing which was on June 30, the judge had finalized the date for the hearing on July 10.

In a sudden twist the actor-director and his ex-wife Ramlath appeared before court on July 2 and their divorce was sanctioned by the judge. Sources close to Prabhu Deva revealed that he would not be able to attend the hearing on July 10 since he would not be in town and hence his lawyer had filed a petition requesting the court to pre-pone the hearing.

Some say it was because Prabhu Deva wanted to avoid the media glare that he did not appear in court on June 30. The case has been posted for July 7 when the judge will pronounce the verdict on the divorce.
