Last year, 'Pushpa: The Rise' introduced to the Indian audience Fahadh Faasil. Yet another massive movie is going to introduce another talented Mollywood actor to the Indian audience. It's 'Salaar', which is fronted by Prabhas.

Addressing the media in Kerala on Tuesday, Prabhas revealed that Prithviraj Sukumaran has got a role in 'Salaar'. It's not known what exactly the character is. Sukumaran, who has done more than 100 films, is known for his nuanced performances. In 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum', the Malayalam original of 'Bheemla Nayak', he essayed the role later reprised by Rana Daggubati.

Sukumaran is not someone who accepts sketchy roles. It seems director Prashanth Neel has cast him in a superb role. The film has Shruti Haasan as the heroine.

As for the rest of the cast of 'Salaar', the actioner also features Mohan Guruswamy in a key role. Produced by Hombale Films, its music is by Ravi Basrur of 'KGF' fame. Bhuvan Gowda is its cinematographer.
