Prabhas needs no introduction after the stupendous blockbuster hits 'Baahubali' and 'Baahubali 2' directed by S.S. Rajamouli that have catapulted him to one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema. He is currently starring in 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Adi Purush' two of the biggest budgeted projects which would again propel his stardom further.
Meanwhile, there is a buzz in the film industry as well as political circles that Prabhas's paternal uncle Krishnam Raju is the chosen one to be the next governor of Tamil Nadu by the ruling BJP party at the center.
Krishnam Raju himself was one of the leading heroes of Telugu cinema in the seventies and eighties and has acted in over 180 films. He later became a politician by joining the Congress and later switched alliance to the BJP and won big from Kakinada in the Lok Sabha elections.
Krishnam Raju has held many ministerial positions in the central government including Defense, Home and I and B. This is not the first time his name is mentioned as the TN governor as earlier in 2017 also he was supposed to enter Raj Bhavan but in a last minute change the current Governor Rossiah took over. We have to wait for the official word from the center on this one.
