Ever since Prabhas joined hands with Rajamouli for 'Baahubali' way back in 2013, he didn't accept a single film until a few weeks back. Sujeeth of Run Raja Run fame has been waiting to make a big-ticket film with Prabhas for more than a year now. He is intent on doing his second with none else but Prabhas.

While we all knew for sure that this is going to be an ambitious venture, none of us expected that it would be as big as Baahubali-The Beginning in terms of the budget. The news is that the untitled project, to be produced by UV Creations, is slated to be a Rs. 150 cr film!

This only goes to show that the makers have grand plans about releasing the movie in a big way in Hindi and Tamil as well. It's not clear whether this one will be made as a bi- or tri-lingual at this point. After Baahubali, Prabhas is eyeing for the national market for obvious reasons. He is more popular than Pawan and Mahesh in the North, thanks to Rajamouli. Note that Mahesh Babu-AR Murugadoss's movie is pegged at Rs. 100 cr. In comparison, Prabhas' film is on a much higher pedestal. Even Bollywood is going to sit up and take note.

It seems that Prabhas's remuneration is very high now, thus the budget has gone up. In the coming months, there will be speculation about Prabhas' remuneration in media and industry circles.

The shoot will commence from December 16. It's an actioner. It seems we are in for an actioner on a never-before lavish scale on South Indian screen.
