Prabhas should do homework to play Lord Ram

With the announcement of 'Adipurush', in which Prabhas will be playing Lord Ram, many on social media are wondering how apt the actor will be for the rarest role. The Telugu audience have a certain kind of perception about the onscreen adaptation of Ram. NT Rama Rao has immortalized Ram on the silver screen in his own inimitable way.
Director Om Raut must have got a different version of Ram in mind. While we don't know what it will be like, it's safe to assume that he is going to present a calm yet occasionally fiery Ram in 'Adipurush'. The actor's face should invariably exude serenity and divinity. Can Prabhas pull it off?
The actor looked a bit off-colour and somewhat sub-par in 'Saaho'. His visage in 'Adipurush' has to be a far cry from it. He should look every bit lively. For that, he should work out and change his dietary habits. Netizens feel that the 'Radhe Shyam' actor may have to give up on some old habits. The likes of NTR used to approach divine roles as though it were a penance.
Prabhas has a unique advantage. He can look perfect as a warrior. As his Mahendra and Amarendra Baahubali showed, he is gifted with the physicality to pull off the warrior Ram. Om Raut will likely be tapping into this advantage.
'Mahanati' director Nag Ashwin seems to understand the challenge ahead for Prabhas. "Very excited to see Prabhas garu as Lord Rama...only very few actors have played him on the big screen before," he writes.
