The highly anticipated biggie 'Salaar' starring Prabhas was initially slated to release on September 28 but got postponed recently due to technical delays. Salaar is an action spectacle directed by the 'KGF' fame Prashant Neel and produced by Hombale Films. Now, the hot buzz is that Salaar is planning to join the Christmas 2023 clash.

According to the latest reports, the exhibitors have received an email stating that Salaar will arrive on 22 December 2023 for the Christmas. An official announcement by Hombale Films will be made on 29 September (Friday). Notably, Dhanush's war film 'Captain Miller' is releasing on 15th December and Shah Rukh Khan's social comedy drama 'Dunki' is coming to cinemas on 22nd December. A mega clash is loading at the box office at the year end with potential blockbusters.

It is worth mentioning that Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero' movie clashed with Prashant Neel's 'KGF Part 1' during Christmas 2018. This is going to be the second time their films are clashing. Salaar stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu and Eswari Rao. Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani starring King Khan, Taapsee Pannu and Dia Mirza. Captain Miller by director Arun Matheshwaran stars Dhanush, Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan and Nivedhithaa Sathish.
