Prabhas has created history as the first South Indian hero to have delivered back to back movies 'Baahubali' and 'Baahubali 2' that breached the rupees thousand crores mark. Both the films were directed by S.S. Rajamouli with Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the other lead roles.
Prabhas's last two films 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyaam' have also collected huge money at the box office but both were critically panned. He is now pinning hopes on his next 'Salaar' directed by Prashant Neel of 'KGF' and 'KGF 2' fame. The film produced by Hombale Films has Shruti Haasan as the lead heroine.
We broke the news much earlier that Malayalam superstar Prithviraj is playing a major character in 'Salaar'. The busy actor-director has opened up for the first time about his involvement in the mega project. He revealed that the first thing that attracted him to the film is Prabhas and then Prashant Neel but he could not accomadate due to scheduling conflicts.
Later due to the coronavirus pandemic both Prabhas and Prithviraj's dates got sorted out and now the latter has come on board. He said that he had insisted that he would dub in his own voice in all languages that 'Salaar' is being made and Prashanth Neel agreed to his condition.
I would Love to do that Film, it's a #Prabhas Film, there isn't any thing to say no to it right, It's a Big.. Big Film.?? - @PrithviOfficial #Salaar pic.twitter.com/HPCCf35BGC
