It was on this day in 2015 that 'Baahubali: The Beginning' hit the screens. As the epic fantasy turned six today, Prabhas raised a toast to the team that worked on the SS Rajamouli directorial.

Taking to Instagram, the 'Saaho' actor used the hashtag #6YearsOfBaahubali and wrote, "Here's to the team that created waves of cinematic magic all across the country and the world (sic)." In his post, the 'Adipurush' and 'Salaar' actor also tagged his co-stars Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and Ramya Krishna, among others.

The film, which had music and cinematography by MM Keeravani and KK Senthil Kumar respectively, was opened to a very lukewarm talk (despite massive collections) in the Telugu States. But it emerged as a huge blockbuster, thanks to its first act and the war sequences. The first-rate movie was later followed up by 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', which was an even bigger hit.

Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the producers of the film, didn't make a windfall from the first edition of the movie. But the second edition gave them huge profits.
