A superstar actor joins the cast of Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’ to play a key role! - Actor reveals

Rebel Star Prabhas' magnum opus 'Radhe Shyam' is all set to release in theatres worldwide this Friday (March 11). The actor is on a promotional spree for the fantasy romance adventure directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and produced by UV Creations. He has dropped a massive update on his next film, 'Salaar', during the promotional event.
It is already known that Prabhas teamed up with the 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel for a massive budget action thriller titled 'Salaar'. It stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead with Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao and Madhu Guruswamy in supporting roles. Recently during the 'Radhe Shyam' press meet held in Kochi, the Baahubali actor revealed that a south superstar is sharing screen space with him in Salaar.
When asked about 'Salaar', Prabhas spilled deets on roping in the Malayalam industry's top actor to play a key role. He reportedly said, “Prithviraj sir is also doing that film. We are so lucky (to have him) in the film. We are happy that he accepted to be a part of it.” Sources say that Prithviraj will be the main antagonist of the movie. Salaar's shooting was progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad.
The actor also reportedly opened up about his role, stating, “This is a very exciting film and my character is extremely violent. It’s something I’ve never done before. It’s a pan-India film.” Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, 'Salaar' will reportedly release in two parts. Ravi Basrur has composed the music while Bhuvan Gowda has cranked the camera.
