A history has been made as Prabhas' magnum opus 'Project K' debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con 2023 in the US. It is now the first Indian film to debut at a comic-con and the makers presented the movie's full title and first glimpse at their panel in the event. This film is a dystopian drama based on the Hindu mythology.

Henceforth, Project K will be called 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The minute-long video opens with the people suffering the reign of evil in 2898. The visual extravaganza comprises idols, battles, robots and futuristic technology. Prabhas and Deepika's looks revealed in the teaser were stunning while we get a peek at Amitabh Bachchan's character without revealing his look.

On the other hand, we can't resist feeling similarities between this, Star Wars and Dune. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who recently joined the film wasn't sighted in the glimpse. Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathi and many others.

Coming to the technical front, Santhosh Narayanan delivered a world class score in this teaser with breathtaking visuals by Djordje Stojiljkovic and stellar cuts by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao. Andreas Nguyen is the stunt director. Vyjayanthi Movies are bankrolling this highly expensive venture which is also their 50th flick.
