Prabhas: No-show spree continues year after alternate year

There was a time when Prabhas used to have two releases in some of the years. 'Varsham' and 'Adavi Ramudu' in 2004, 'Chakram' and 'Chatrapathi' in 2005, 'Yogi' and 'Munna' in 2007, and 'Billa' and 'Ek Niranjan' in 2009 kept the fans engaged, whether or not some of them worked at the box-office.
It's after 'Mirchi' in 2013 that Prabhas's filmography has slowed down. It all began with the launch of 'Baahubali' in July 2013. It took all of two years for the first edition of the Rajamouli magnum opus to release (in 2015). The second edition took two more years (2017). 'Saaho' took another two years (2019).
Thus, Prabhas hasn't had film releases in three years (2014, 2016, 2018) so far. Given the current state of affairs, he won't have a film coming out in 2020 as well. Prabhas' movie with Radhakrishna Kumar will hit the screens in 2021.
As per the industry buzz, Nag Ashwin's film with him will not release before 2023. Which only means that Prabhas' fans have to live with a no-show year from their favourite star in 2022 as well.
