Recently, it was widely rumoured that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt had rejected 'Saaho' before the heroine's role was offered to Shraddha Kapoor. Alia allegedly felt that the female lead has nothing much to do in the film. We took the gossip with a pinch of salt.

Going by what Prabhas is saying, there is no truth in the conclusion that Saaho's heroine is nothing more than a glam doll. Far from it, she has got even action sequences.

Speaking to a news agency, this is what the Rebel Star says: "Her character adds a lot of weight to the story. Her strong character will be seen in action scenes as well."

This should put to rest all the doubts regarding Shraddha's place in the film.

The actress is now in Hyderabad, filming for the multi-lingual magnum opus that is directed by Sujeeth Sign.
