The unprecedented march of 'Baahubali-2' is on and on. In just about three days, it's clear that the magnum opus is turning out to be the biggest hit in the history of Indian cinema. Right from Day 1 itself, it has been doing a 'dangal' on all other extant records.
In North America, it has clocked more than USD 10M, with the Sunday figures in US and Canada put together standing at USD 1.90M. However, it couldn't beat the first two days figures of 'PK' and 'Dangal' in that market segment.
The Hindi version alone has mopped up something like Rs. 120 Cr as of the end of Sunday.
In AP and Telangana, where the film got a share of Rs. 41 Cr or so on Day 1, the weekend gave another Rs. 20 Cr or so. In Hindi, however, the weekends have given more than what Day 1 gave.
In Chennai, the film is at all-time No. 2. Yes, at Rs. 3.17 Cr, it's trailing Kabali's Rs. 3.75 Cr by a not-so-big margin! And it's the Tamil version which has got the highest percentage of this figure.
In Kerala, the movie is collecting in an ascending order, with collections improving day after day. It's estimated that it's going to be Rs. 25 Cr movie in that State.
Overall, the gross is said to be Rs. 500 Cr.
