Prabhas has figured as the Numero Uno Asian celebrity for the year 2021. As many as fifty Asian celebrities are featured in the list, every single one below the 'Baahubali' sensation.

The report has been published by Eastern Eye, a UK newspaper. The 'Saaho' actor has ranked at the top as a global icon among entertainers from various fields, including the music industry, television, literature, etc.

Speaking about choosing the 'Adipurush' and 'Salaar' actor, the magazine's Entertainment Editor Asjad Nazir observed that Prabhas has drawn attention to regional language films in India in a way not seen before. The actor was also credited with making people say that Bollywood doesn't have a permanent claim to the top status in the report.

Prabhas, the magazine identifies, enjoys the fastest growing fanbase of any Asian celebrity globally. There is also a mention of the actor's philanthropic work. Since the pandemic arrived in early 2020, Prabhas has donated more than Rs 5 Cr.

Commenting on the ranking, 'Radhe Shyam' director Radha Krishna Kumar said that Prabhas comes with a huge amount of passion. "He is an examplar in every way," the young filmmaker added. 'Radhe Shyam' will hit the screens on 14 January 2022.
