Director S.S.Rajamouli's historical blockbuster 'Baahubali 2' which turned out to be the first Indian film to collect Rs.1000 crores has completed the landmark of 100 Days run in theatres. The Telugu-Tamil bilingual film has been running to houseful shows in many theatres including those in Tamil Nadu. The film released in all languages on April 28, 2017.

As far as Tamil Nadu Box office is concerned the film has collected a whopping Rs.155 crores and the distributors share is Rs.76 crores. The film has already become the highest grosser in Tamil Nadu in the month of May itself. On 15th of May, the sequel to 'Baahubali' had collected Rs.106 crores to surpass the earlier record set by Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran' that released in 2010. So 'Baahubali' stands way beyond all other films as the Biggest All Time Hit film in Tamil Nadu Box office.

The same applies to Chennai city as well. The film has collected Rs.18.92 crores fron theatricals across the capital city of the state. This is the all time biggest grosser in Chennai. Superstar Rajinikanth's 2016 blockbuster 'Kabali' holds the second place with Rs.12 crores of overall collections from Chennai.

So 'Baahubali 2' is the biggest ever blockbuster in the entire state of Tamil Nadu including Chennai and the film has also completed 100 Day run.

The historical fantasy film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggupati, Anushka, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nasser in important roles has made all of its cast and crew members proud of being part of such a project whose historical achievement cannot be explained by words.

Hats off to Team 'Baahubali' headed by the master craftsman Rajamouli.
