The pre-release event of 'Saaho' was held on Sunday evening at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. It was a grand evening graced by the film's cast and crew and prominent industry personalities such as Rajamouli.

Speaking on the occasion, Sujith thanked Prabhas' die-hard fans for their patience. "The fans expected a film immediately after 'Baahubali-2'. But they had to patiently wait two years for 'Saaho'. Prabhas anna recently said that I never looked tense during the making of the film. It's because my friends and family always absorb my tension. Prabhas anna gave me a call when I was making short films. Around the time 'Mirchi' released, he watched a short-film of mine and liked its screenplay. He is a repository of memory. The last shot in the Trailer was narrated to him 2.5 years before it was shot. Till the day of the shoot, he remembered it every bit. I owe my confidence levels to him," he said.

Sujith expressed his gratefulness toward Prabhas for keeping faith in him after a Rajamouli movie. "The best technicians have worked on the movie. Cinematographer Madhie sir has travelled with me for four years. Sabu Cyril sir is terrific. Sreekar Prasad sir has worked with greats like Mani Ratnam. It was great teaming up with him. Kamalkannan sir's VFX supervision is so natural. Ghibran's background music is top-notch. You have to watch the movie to realize it. Vamsi anna, Pramod anna and Vikram anna (producers) are the best people I have seen in my life," the director added.
