Prabhas is all set to rock the screens with his new cinematic spectacle 'Adipurush' on June 16. Directed by Om Raut, the magnum opus film reiterates the Indian epic Ramayana in a visually immersive way. While the release is just a few days away, Adipurush faces a setback in release due to DC's new superhero film 'The Flash'.
Adipurush, produced by T-Series and Retrophiles, was initially planned to have a grand release in 2D, 3D & IMAX formats in Pan-Indian languages. But the film won't be released in IMAX format in any language this Friday. As per reports, Warner Bros. Pictures had blocked the IMAX screens in India well in advance for DCEU's major final event 'The Flash'.
Adipurush will hit the screens only in 2D & 3D versions and the bookings have opened already. Fans are unhappy knowing that they won't be able to witness Prabhas on Lord Ram on the IMAX screens. Some took to social media and appealed to director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series to add an IMAX release for the film.
Adipurush stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Hema Malini, Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol and many others. Adipurush has music jointly composed by Sanchit Balhara, Ankit Balhara, Ajay-Atul and Sachet Parampara with cinematography by Karthik Palani and editing by Apurva Motiwale Sahai.
