Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu bat for Jallikattu

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu joined the numerous celebrities from outside the state to bat for jallikattu and praise the youth who are battling for their culture to remain intact. He has stated "#Jallikattu is the spirit of Tamil Nadu - bold and fearless. Proud to see such a statement of unity among Tamilians for something that they truly believe in.Especially admire the way the students of Tamil Nadu have been standing up for the cause, relentlessly fighting for their roots and culture."
Similarly Power Star Pawan Kalyan too has stated that the ban on Jallikattu is an attack on Dravida culture and its integrity, this is how it is viewed in South India. He has said that he observed the deep hurt in the people when he was shooting in Pollachi and also the people of Andhra for the ban of Kodipandem.
