'Powerstar' not to tease Rajinikanth

'Powerstar' Srinivasan has just confirmed that he is indeed doing the film based on the issues faced by Superstar Rajinikanth's latest film 'Lingaa' before and after its release. Powerstar will be reprising the role of real life Superstar in this film.

While it wasreported that this film will be a spoof film on 'Lingaa' issue Srinivasan has said that he will never cause insult to the Superstar at any cause. "I signed the film only after making it clear that there should be no scene or dialgoue in the film that will be seen as teasing Thalaivar."

.Speaking more about the film Srinivasan said that It will be a humour oriented film. The story is about what will happen if a superstar actor gives flop film. The film will also have an intro song for Powerstar that starts as 'Vandhenda Powerkaran' reminding us about 'Vandhenda Paalkaran' the famous intro song of Rajinikanth in his 1992 super hit film 'Annamalai'.

This film is going to be produced by SIngaravelan,the distributor of 'Lingaa' who lead the protest to get compensation for distributors who suffered due to the loss of 'Lingaa'.
