A meeting of the newly-constituted Joint Fact-finding Committee (JFC) was held on Friday morning at Hyderabad's Daspalla Hotel. Powered by Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, the meet saw the attendance of several leaders from different sections of society. Reportedly, the ruling TDP and the main opposition YSRCP didn't have any representation.
Pawan has said that sub-committees will be constituted to look into different issues related to the Centre's promises to Andhra Pradesh.
Later in the day, Pawan tweeted saying, "JFC is filing an RTI application seeking information on promises made & funds disbursed for projects as part of AP Reorganization Act 2014. Answering this RTI is Central Govt.`s RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM` 10 crores Telugu public!!"
He shared the screenshots of the RTI applications filed.
It's reported that the JFC is also considering the idea of protesting at Delhi's Jantar Mantar in near future.
