Power Star Srinivasan shares his past life story - old interview goes viral

Tamil actor Power Star Srinivasan entered the film industry in 2010 and appeared in small roles. He then produced and acted as the hero in the 2011 film 'Lathika' and rose to fame by starring with Santhanam in 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya'. It is well-known that he was a doctor before he came to the cinema.

After featuring in many films as a comedian Srinivasan was recently seen in the OTT film 'Pei Mama' in which Yogi Babu played the lead. Power star is playing the pair of Bigg boss Tamil fame Vanitha Vijayakumar in an upcoming movie. The actor was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed on a shooting spot a few months ago.

Recently, video clips and photos of Power star from the hospital ward was doing rounds on the internet. While an official statement from the hospital is awaited, fans are sharing Srinivasan old interview footage in which he talks about his past life. In the video, the actor says that he lost a lot in life because of the one thing: love.

Srinivasan further adds that getting cheated financially and emotionally in the name of love is the greatest lesson he had in his life. He says, "I am now what I am after seeing all the things in life. I know to distinguish between truth, lies and fake. I will help people as much as I can. I had done 7, 8 business before coming to the film industry. I employed 150 people and earned over 50 lakh rupees per month. I was known to people as Dr Srinivasan then. Only specific people know me. Thus I thought I should be famous."

Power star then opened up about his cinema career, "Then I entered cinema industry for the first time. There were 100s of people who act every day and get paid for them and some of them didn't get paid. That’s when I decided to get into the cinema. Then I started directing and acting in the film. I have already employed 150 people. Then I went to the cinema thinking that I could employ 100 more people. It was god's will."
