Nandamuri Balakrishna feels that it was the power of the birthplace of NT Rama Rao, his legendary father, that made the 'NTR' biopic possible.
"About 1.5 years ago, I was to Nimmakuru (birthplace of NTR), where my son-in-law Nara Lokesh had adopted a Primary Health Centre. He was there to oversee upgrade tasks over there. I don't know why, I happened to say that I will do a film on Rama Rao garu," Balayya begins saying.
"Earlier, when Vishnu Induri first told me that he wanted to produce the biopic, I just told him that I am ready. Back then, it was still a nascent idea. We left the idea unattended for a few years. It was only after the Nimmakuru visit that the idea gained strength. Maybe, it's the power of the place. It was an accidental thing for me to do the biopic, finally," the Hindupur MLA says.
'NTR: Kathanayakudu' will hit the screens on January 9.
