Powerhouse actor Randeep Hooda is gearing up for the release of his upcoming thriller flick 'CAT'. Recently, he took to Instagram to share a new poster of the same and announced the release date as well. Releasing on 9th of December, the film will focus on the organised crime in Punjab and will feature Randeep Hooda in a turbaned look playing an undercover spy.

The poster that Randeep shared on Instagram, featured him looking intensely at camera while sporting a full beard and a turban. He captioned the post as, "We've got some purrrrr-fect news! Watch Randeep Hooda as Gurnam in CAT - a gripping tale of brotherhood, espionage and more, releasing on 9th Dec."

Talking about the project, Randeep had earlier stated, "Working with Netflix is always a pleasure. I had a tremendous time during 'Extraction' and the love it got me from around the world was phenomenal. 'CAT' again has all the elements to appeal to a global audience. It has given me an opportunity to explore new facets as an actor in a simple but intriguing script. Can't wait to see the audience reaction to the series."

Randeep's other upcoming projects include Veer Savarkar biopic, 'Inspector Avinash' web show and a film titled 'Unfair And Lovely'.
