Navadeep of 'Jai'-fame is paring up with Ekta Khosla for 'Poramboku' being directed by Srinivas and produced by B Krishna Reddy, who had earlier dubbed a sensational film like 'Sindhura Puvvu' into Telugu.

The film had almost completed its shooting but for the canning of a song. Producer Krishna Reddy says, 'The hero is notorious as a useless fellow in his village. But he reaches city to fulfill his mother's ambition.

How a useless fellow turned a hero and how he achieved the target is the subject of the film. Brahmanandam looks in a character, with a different kind of mannerism, which always discourages the hero.

Recently we had shot a scene in a Raja Darbar set in Padmalaya Studios. Manisharma gave melodious tunes to the songs and we are planning to release the audio on January 14.

The film is basically moves on comedy and sentiment elements. Presently re-recording work is in progress. We will complete all the post-production formalities soon and release the film in the last week of January.
