A lil’ birdie tells us that ‘Poraali’, a Tamil hit, will be remade in Kannada by Samuthirakani! It is said that Puneet Rajkumar, a renowned Kannada actor will play the lead whilst Allari Naresh and Vasundara will be seen in the same roles.

The movie tasted success in the Tamil and Telugu BO (dubbed as ‘Sangarshana’). The film will also be remade in Hindi by Samuthirakani later this year.

It may be mentioned Samuthirakani currently has three acting projects in Malayalam, namely ‘Pathiramanal’, ‘The Reporter’ and ‘Veendum Kannur’. His next project as an actor in Tamil, ‘Sattai’, is taking good shape and will be wrapped shortly.

‘Poraali’ is indeed going on a pan Indian mode and the director along with it… Great going Samuthirakani!
