The Samuthirakani and Sasikumar duo will be back together in ‘Poraali’, as the real life friends have taken the roles of director and protagonist respectively. This film has been given a U/A certificate by the censor board and it is now said that the film will hit the screens along with STR’s ‘Osthi’ this December.

The film will see a worldwide release on December 1. Produced under Sasikumar’s home banner, Company Productions, the film has music by Sundar C and will release simultaneously in Telugu as well.

Swathi and Allari Naresh of Tollywood fame will be seen in pivotal roles. Speaking on the film, Samuthirakani said, “Though Poraali is about the struggle of individuals, it is a lively film which would highlight on positive things. It is about four persons, who face some problems and come together at one point of time. It is said Samuthirakani will direct the film in Hindi after the release of ‘Poraali’ in south.
