On Monday evening, popular vloggers Ebin and Libin, who are running a popular YouTube channel in Malayalam titled 'E Bull Jet', have been arrested by the Kannur Police for intruding into RT office, threatening the officials, and obstructing them from discharging their duties. "They were charged for causing damage at the RTO office. They have been taken to court to register the arrest," said an officer at the Kannur Town police station.

Due to non-payment of tax and illegal modification, the siblings' van - Napoleon - was seized by the Motor Vehicle Department on Monday. According to the Police, the modifications are made in such a way that it is dangerous for other vehicles on the road. Rs 42,000 was the fine that was charged against them. Following this, the brothers barged into the RTO office and created a ruckus. They also live-streamed the events at the office on their popular Youtube channel. A commotion followed as their fans reached the scene.

“The officials did not do anything to provoke them, but the brothers had come to the office prepared,” said Motor Vehicle Inspector V T Padmalal, who added that they created scenes unmindful of their explanations. Also, the siblings had violated the COVID protocols. Ebin and Libin are remanded for two weeks.
