Sharanya Turadi has been one of the most popular TV anchors recent times. Starting her career as a newsreader, she went on to act in several successful television serials and has gained a huge fan following.

In a recent interview, Sharanya was asked whether she'll be entering films next. Sharanya has responded that it was natural that people expected her to follow Priya Bhavani Shankar's route of moving from TV to acting and then films, but expressed that cinema doesn't fascinate her.

Sharanya has said that she's scared about the fame and money cinema can give. She has further added that working in different movies interacting with different teams, listening to scripts and waiting for the results of the movies scares her and she won't do films.
