The nationwide lockdown which was announced by Indian PM Narendra Modi on March 24, extended further after 21 days, till May 4, and from today it has been extended till May 17, as the total number of corona cases in the country have gone past 40000.

However the biggest change in this third phase of lockdown is the relaxations that have been announced and these relaxations will enable the movement of people outside homes, which is against the staying in home method adopted so far. Producer SR Prabhu has tweeted warning people not to take an advantage of the relaxations and go out as the numbers are still increasing.

"To all those happy about going out for a change from today, remember we are still growing in numbers. Yes! Each have to earn food for their family. But one’s ignorance may cost someone’s life. Let’s be Careful & Stay Safe!!" tweeted SR Prabhu.
