Popular playback singer Manjari got married to her childhood friend Jerin, an HR Manager. While the bride looked ethereal in a red sari, with simple gold jewels, the groom wore a red Kurta, and a mundu at the wedding. The wedding was a close-knit affair held in Trivandrum on June 24. Only close relatives and friends were invited to the marriage ceremony. Actress Priyanka and superstar Suresh graced the ceremony with their family. Following the wedding, the couple arranged a party for the differently-abled children in the Magic Academy of Gopinath Muthukad. On their way to the academy, the newlyweds posted a video, seeking blessings. “Today is an important day in my life. We got married. We will be spending the day with kids at Magic Academy. There are a lot of talented kids, and we will be having lunch with them, along with our families. We need your prayers and support for our life together,” Manjari said in the video.

Jerin has been Manjari’s friend since childhood. The duo studied together in a school in Muscat from their first grade. Manjari was earlier married to Vivek Prasad in the year 2009. The couple parted ways a few years later. Manjari shot to fame with her singing skills in the 2005 release ‘Achuvinte Amma’. A recipient of two Kerala State Film Awards for best playback singer, Manjari has crooned over 500 songs in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. She has also worked with some of the legendary musicians including Ilayaraaja, MG Radhakrishnan, Kaithapram Viswanathan, Vidyasagar, M Jayachandran, Ouseppachan, Mohan Sithara, Raveendran Master and Johnson Master, and many others.
