Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in Sanga Thamizhan is next awaiting the release of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master and has a number of movies like Ka Pae Ranasingam, Kadaisi Vivasayi etc lined up for release.

Vijay Sethupathi was recently signed to play the lead role in the biopic of Sri Lankan spin legend Muthiah Muralitharan, which will be directed by Sripathy Rangasamy and produced by Rana Daggubati.

Now, popular yesteryear singer Malaysia Vasudevan's son, actor and singer Yugendran has expressed that he wishes to direct the biopic of his father, with Vijay Sethupathi. Yugendran has said in a recent interview that he has already made a documentary on his father's life, his struggles in rubber plantation before singing career and now wants to make it as a movie and added that he believes Vijay Sethupathi will be the best choice as he could presentation Malaysia Vasudevan's body language perfectly.
