Popular TV actress Sreelaya has been blessed with a baby girl. The happy news was shared by her sister and actress Sruthi Lakshmi through her social media handle. "We got a precious gift today on this NewYear day. It's a baby girl. Thank God," Sruthi wrote, sharing alongside a picture from the baby shower ceremony. From fans to celebs including actors Muktha, Sneha Sreekumar, Niranjan Nair, singer Jyotsna, and many others conveyed their wishes for the new mommy and the baby.

Sreelaya is the daughter of actress Lizzie Jose and the sister of actress Shruti Lakshmi. Sreelaya won the hearts of many through the serial 'Bhagyadevata' in 'Mazhavil Manora'. Later, her role as Kuttimani in the serial 'Munnumani' earned her many accolades. Sreelaya found love for the second time in Robin and the duo tied the knot last year. Her sister Sruthi Lakshmi is also a child actress who has gained attention in movies and serials.
