Mollywood's popular music director Jaison J Nair, of Aana Chantham, Katha Paranja Katha, and Aby fame, got assaulted by a gang at a deserted area in Kallara, Kerala. The incident happened on Tuesday night at around 7.45 p.m while Jaison was traveling in his car from Cherthala to his house in Etumanoor. While he was returning to his house, the music composer stopped the car to receive a phone call, at a deserted place surrounded by paddy fields.

Minutes later, a gang of three teenagers stopped near his car and asked him to park his car a little ahead saying that the place was an accident-prone area. The teenagers followed him and asked him for money. When Jaison refused to give them any money, one among the three teenagers took a dagger and threatened him. When they tried to stab him, Jaison got a cut on the throat. He managed to escape from the scene by driving off at speed.

The incident came to light after the music composer revealed it on his social media handle. However, Jaison did not file a complaint with the police.
