Veteran actress Shanthi Krishna who made a strong comeback in Mollywood with the Nivin Pauly starrer Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela recently surprised the audiences with her new venture. The actress is making her singing debut through the upcoming Kunchacko Boban movie Kuttandan Marpappa. Composed by Rahul Raj, the actress has lend her voice for a soulful lullaby written by Vinayak Sasikumar. 

Talking about how Rahul Raj roped in Shanthi Krishna, the young music composer says, "There is beautiful lullaby in the film and we were in search of a new voice. That's when we happened to hear a few of Shanthi chechi's humming in some interviews. Then we thought why not ask her as she will be the apt person as it is her character who is singing it." 

Apparently, Shanthi Krishna has learnt classical music for years. However it is the first time the actres is crooning for a movie.
