Popular Kannada actress for Nivin Pauly's next

The makers of Nivin Pauly's Kayamkulam Kochunni are currently busy finalizing the cast and crew members. While Amala Paul, Sunny Wayne, and Angamaly Diaries fame Sarath Kumar have already been confirmed, the latest that we hear is a Kannada actress has been roped in to play one of the two female leads in the movie. Kannada actress Priyanka Thimmesh noted for her roles in films like Pataki, Akira and Ganapa will be making her Malayalam debut with this upcoming movie. The news was revealed by the actress in a recent interview with a popular news daily.

Meanwhile, the social media users are going gaga over the recently released character sketches of Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul in the movie which is based on the 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' stories, in Aithihyamala. Though there have been many versions of Kochunni's life stories, the upcoming venture will explore on how Kochunni turned out to be a rebel from a common man.

Scripted by the duo Bobby-Sanjay and produced by Gokulam Gopalan, for Sree Gokulam Films, the movie's music will be done by Kabali music director Santhosh Narayanan and sound designing by Baahubali sound designer Satheesh. 'Kayamkulam Kochunni' will start rolling on September first and will be shot at the various locations of Kayamkulam and Sri Lanka.
