Malayalam actress and film producer Sandra Thomas has been admitted to a hospital after being diagnosed with dengue fever and experienced low blood pressure and heart rate. After her health condition started deteriorating, Sandra was moved to the intensive care unit (ICU). The news was confirmed by the actress' sister who took to Sandra's Facebook handle to write, "Hi Everyone… Chechi(Sandra Thomas) is admitted in the hospital due to low BP n heart rate. She is diagnosed with a severe case of Dengue and in ICU right now, it’s been 2 days… Her condition is improving ..requesting prayers for her speedy recovery... ️.”
Sandra Thomas ventured into film production by collaborating with actor Vijay Babu. The first movie released under their production banner 'Friday Film House' was the 2012 movie Friday. Soon the production house gained popularity and delivered several hits including, 'Philips and the Monkey Pen', 'Adi Kapyare Kootamani', etc. After Sandra and Vijay ended their partnership, she started an independent one on her own named Sandra Thomas Productions. She had also announced her first production that is ‘Kallan D’Souza’ an upcoming Malayalam film starring Soubin Shahir. Sandra is also an amazing actress, she has played important roles in several movies including 'Amen', ‘Zachariayude Garbhinikal’ and ‘Aadu’.
