Poppins
After the controversial themes and hit flicks like `Beautiful' and `Trivandrum lodge,' director V K Prakash is getting ready to meet the Kerala audience once again with the movie `Poppins'. The movie is a multistarrer featuring Jayasurya and Meghana Raj, Indrajith and Padmapriya, Kunchacko Boban and Nitya Menen, Shanker Ramakrishnan and Mydhili, Siddhique and Ann Augustine. This movie will also feature Child artists Dhananjayan and Nayan Thara who did some important roles in his last hit `Trivandrum lodge'.V K P will be aiming a hatrick with this `Poppins' which will be a much different affair from his previous films. The film is an screen adaptation of the Sahithya Academi award-winning play `8 Natakangal' written by Jayaprakash Kuloor. The movie tells a story centred on man-woman relationships, exploring different facets of the institution called marriage .The director V K Prakash had already adapted this play into a Kannada film in the title `Aidu Ondla Aidu'. This version was shown in Australia and New Zealand as part of the Indian Film Festival, where it was applauded well. Interestingly Nithya Menen and Padmapriya will reprise their role from the Kannada film. The movie presented by Dimac creations in association with VKP's Trends Adfilm makers and Innostorm Entertainment groups will be distributed by Central pictures.Shot at Bangalore and Trivandrum, `Poppins' is ready to hit the screens in a couple of weeks.. |
